Soooooo Jealous!!

My brother and sister-in-law left today for Hawaii. I am so jealous. I have wanted to go forever. I guess I am going to have to get over my fear of flying. Hope you guys have an awesome trip and Happy 1 year anniversary! We are so glad to have you in our family Kira (especially Ethan).

My baby is growing up!

Ethan will be starting school this year and he has started writing his name. He was so excited that he wanted me to take pictures of him.

10 Random Things About Me

So I have been tagged by Libby, Anayansi and Tiffany, thanks a lot girls, and I need to list 10 random things about me.


1. I can tie a cherry stem in my mouth using my tongue


2. I love watching Disney Channel with my kids and have developed a crush on one of the Jonas Brothers.


3. I went to a Nickelback concert while I was about 6 months pregnant with Ethan. Maybe that is why he party's like a rock star


4. I have always wanted to vacation in Hawaii, but I have a fear of flying. I'm trying to get my hard working husband to save up for a cruise there.


5. I tricked my husband into meeting the sister missionaries. Little did he know he was going to be given the first discussion. He later told me that he almost made an escape under the garage door. I'm sure glad he didn't.


6. I really don't like watching any kind of sports on tv, but I don't mind watching them in person...especially hockey.


7. I'm a big fan of George Lopez and watch all his re-runs on Nick at Nite. We also got to see him in person this past weekend.


8. I am 28 years old but don't know how to ride a bike.


9. When it comes to swimming, I can't go under water without holding my nose, and I won't jump off a diving board.


10. I love to take pictures and scrapbook.

George Lopez

So we went to see George Lopez last night. He was so hilarious. It was worth the money and I will definitely see him again if he comes. The pictures I took did not come out that good because cameras were not allowed (yes I sneaked in my camera) so I was not using my flash. I should have used the flash because everyone else was I guess I was just being a chicken. Anyways I can still say I got to see GEORGE LOPEZ!

Punishment? I don't think so!

So Orlando comes home and says that he got in trouble, well, not really in trouble. He gives me this long story about forgetting his helmet so the captain told him he was going to be penalized, but then he finds out some of the guys brought his helmet, but he is still going to be penalized. Usually they have to do push-ups, but the captain had something else in mind for Orlando.

Garner State Park

For the 4th of July weekend we went up to Garner. We had such a great time spending time with the family. We did a lot of swimming and some also did some hiking. We use to go when I was younger so it was nice to be back. The weather was perfect. It did not rain until we left.

Aquatic Center

We went to the aquatic center in Aransas Pass. The kids really enjoyed themselves. It is such an awesome place to take the kids for the summer, it is inexpensive and not that far.

Fire Academy

Happy Father's Day!

Ethan and Reiley are so blessed to have such a wonderful father. He is such an awesome father. We made Orlando a Father word book.









I also want to say Happy Father's Day to my father. He is a wonderful father. He has done so much for me and I appreciate all that he has done.

I am just so happy!

I am so excited, I just have to blog about this. Some of you might remember Sis. Leishman. She is such an awesome person. She is one of the reasons why Orlando joined the church. She did an awesome job on teaching Orlando the discussions. Well we stayed in touch after her mission and then we lost contact. Thanks to Shankar, he gave her my blog address and now we are in contact again.

A day at the park!

One evening for FHE we walked to the park down our street. The kids really enjoyed themselves. Reiley, my little monkey, was climbing everything all by herself. Ethan was a little scared at first, but then he got the hang of it.

Me and my sisters took some time away from the kids and went to the movies for a girls night out. It was kind of nice to have a little break. I think we should do it more often.
